neither do I. But in his remington steele days I knew a woman who had met him and she said he was better looking in real life.

That makes all of... no sense. Oh well!

Sir Roger Moore: was approaching sixty when filming A View To A Kill but, due to his effortless charm and wit, was still sexy.

George Lazenby, an early Bond.

He was Bond only once, in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. When Sean Connery left the role, they got in George Lazenby, an Australian model and commercial advertisement actor... a complete unknown with no formal acting training. Why? Because he looked like Sean Connery.

His film failed completely, not commercially, since it made lots of money. But his career as Bond was over. He was smashed in the press, and a public feud between Lazenby and co-star Diana Rigg (playing Bond's wife in the film) created more hype than the film itself. He was fired, and Sean Connery was convinced to come back to the role once more in Diamonds Are Forever for $1,000,000 before dear Roger came in and did the most Bond films anyone has ever done.

Have you read the books? I did years ago. I hardly remember them now.

I'm a Cinematic Bond kinda guy... the books don't have hot guys in the lead role!

Bond's wife is (or was) a woman called the Countess Teresa Villicento (if my memory serves on the spelling of her last name there). She was an impulsive, reckless rogue lady who displeased her father often. Her father was a powerful underworld figure named Draco who went up against Blofeld and lost. Bond, completely by coincidence, resues Teresa during a failed suicide attempt and ends up sleeping with her, and this draws the attention of Draco. Draco gives Bond a proposition: marry Teresa and teach her the meaning of behaving herself and he'll lead Bond to Blofeld. Bond accepts without the intention of making good on his offer to marry Teresa, but during the mission, Teresa pops up and saves his life on many occasions. The two fall in love and marry at the end of the film.

As the happy couple, Mr. and Mrs. James Bond, drive away from their wedding, they stop to take off all the flowers streaming across Bond's Aston Martin. As the pair joke and plan their future, a car passes by, driven by a crippled Blofeld. His assistant in the back seat sprays Bond's car with machine gun fire. Bond is okay, and rushes to the driver's seat, only to find Teresa beside him, a bullet in her skull.
