:idon'tknow: people plan thier vacation in advance. Would be a shame to plan it and then not be able to get a ticket. Best to get the ticket first.

I knew I was a late vacation planner when I wasn't sure if I would go to Japan the day before I left, but a year for a convention is just out there. Concerts aren't even announced that early for the good bands, much less on sale.
