Title: considering deleting all my applications
wissaboo - December 27, 2009 05:52 PM (GMT)
:waiting:
I've spent the last few days paying almost 4,000 zoo dollars to train my eagle to do 3 1/2 percen of a trick. That got old fast. Farmville is boring m now. I've deleted almost all the rest. I think maybe my obsession has run it's course.

I don't even realy know what it is. :/ Maybe that's for the best though because I'd probably become obsessed. For a while I was obsessed with the Super Poke pets on Myspace. Trying to furnish my cats house with the coolest stuff. I got over it but now when I log onto Myspace (which isn't very often) I have a little note from my pet with his sad face on it saying something like take care of me please and then I feel guilty and go and feed him and stuff.

Guilt trips are a bitch, ain't they ??
Deleted my fishtank some time ago, as I spent most of my time cleaning the damn glass. Little rock pool is slightly better, no glass. Island Paradise is the next to go I think, unless country life gets done before it. Farmville is likely to be the last, since I've spent most time playing that, but all the lag problems are really ticking me off !! :(
BTW, since I started playing Last Chaos (lvl 19 now), I haven't been anywhere near Pirate Galaxy and no I don't miss it. Am giving serious thought to dumping that, too, which will not go down well with my clan !! :/
Strangely, playing kidnapped and snowballs with ForgetMeNot is quite amusing, and I really look forward to it.

I don't really play much anymore, I usually have one obsession at a time. For a time it was Zoo, always like the Wizarding game, and farmville comes in stages. I just put my pagoda in storage, bought the manor house and am considering which layout I want for my farm now. Once that's done, I'm sure I'll be bored until they hook me in some other way.

The only thing I have is Pet society on FB and that's enough for me.

You folks could always try a site called Neo Pets...

Do you have to delete applications? Is that because they are stuffed in my computer & clog up space. My computer hasn't ben the same since I joined Facebook. I can't get into my Cafe since before Christmas. Now, I can't get into Farmville. I think my Flashplayer needs updatng. I tried but I don't think it works. I might be forced to quit.

Most in my family, including the wife have been sucked into the Farmville stuff on Facebook along with other odd little games they have.
Frig my brother has his farmville account, he manages his girlfriends because she can't be bothered, and he made a fake facebook account just so he could get another farm to work on.
How bad is that?
Me? I can't be bothered with facebook other then having an account on there so nobody else tried to take my name and act like an idiot. (I do a good enough job on my own, I don't need anybody ruining my mojo) I'll check messages if there are any, but other then that, I'm hardly ever on it.
Now a days my gaming time is filled with the Wii, the dozens of games I have for that, Day of Defeat, Day of Defeat Source, Team Fortress Classic, Team Fortress 2, Red Orchestra Ostfront, Darkest Hour, Overlord and Civilization IV + Expansions.
Not to mention a few other games I have kicking around on the computer that I don't play very often.
Oh, and my Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy and Sega Genisis games I have on the PC.
What can I say.... I grew up with my dad's Atari and Commadore 64 as a child and went from there.
Now before people start to think I somehow play all of these all the time back to back.... I just like variety and will just randomly pick whichever game I'm in the mood for and perhaps play for an hour or two out of the whole day..... I used to be pretty bad growing up.
Mortal Kombat II on the Super Nintendo???
Ho ho... that was my weakness cuz everybody I knew wanted to play it and try and beat me.... I was Neo: The One.... .unstoppable, lol.
Ah the good old days.
I still have 90% of the moves and secret things wired into my brain....
at character select screen, press up, up, left, up, down, select for massive damage to opponet when hit.
up, right, down, left, up, select for 30 continues.
Scorpion fatality: sweep distance away, hold block, up, up, low punch to set on fire.... or down, down, up, up, low punch anywhere on the map.
Down, towards, towards, towards up close and high punch to slice their jugular and slash them in half...... (among many others)
and that game came out 17 years ago, when I was 13 years old.... last time I played it was maybe 4 years ago before I gave away my super nintendo.... I was no longer playing the games, I was just going through the motions without thinking.
Geez.... don't get me started on the Super Mario games :p

My daughter had the same problem with flash and IE on her computer. I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I downloaded firefox for her and she uses that with no problems
