Does anyone watch this? I finally left it on. Not my cup of tea for what little I've seen.

It does raise a question about how we would handle a world where holorealities were real. Would it make a difference if the characters in our holoreality were just digital creations or if they were avatars representing other people who could see and feel everything in that same reality? Would you use it for sex, murder, or more disgusting things than anything you would do in real life?

I frackin loved the pilot ep! I think it's going to be very character driven like DS9.

I had so many thoughts about how this is going to open up the BSG world.

Like the pleasure place in the opening sequence was filmed at the same place as the Opera House on BSG. Wether this was on purpose or just convenient i don't know. But considering the first cyclon is the daughter and she lives in that place. It seems on purpose.

Also did you think the daughter look a lot like Zooey Deschanel?

Frackin gonna love this show!

Send the holograms out to do the work, while we find ways to relax. :violet:

thats kinda what they are getting at in the show. machines do all the labor while we spend our lives in a VR :)

Though they more make the Cylons for war at first.

I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll be better than BSG. I do like where they're going and how the Cylons got their god.

I would use those rooms exactly how those kids used them.

The show will be great. I think the rooms would get old quick though. The way running over hookers in Grand Theft Auto did. I think a lot of people if given no borders to hedonism would push everything to the limit. Then having seen all, they would scale back to a comfort zone.

I really liked the pilot, but I think they're dragging it out a bit based on the first ep. Greystone doesn't even know Zoe is in control of the centurion yet. Pfft.

Still, I like the backstory being filled in for BSG and the casting. The girl who plays Zoe is perfect in that role and Esai Morales is a good foil for Eric Stoltz. Think it's going to be a good show.

In the hooka bar scene :sara:, I think the bartender was one the BSG deck gang in the mini-series, Prognin, Progner, whatever...

I want to see that surviving friend and the school mistress hook up.

Sorry, I'm in a mood.
