I have no idea how Im going to incorporate Easter, the Shat, and Denny Crane into a cohesive representation worthy of winning an avatar contest, that I dont feel stupid while wearing it for its duration

Isn't the lesson that he sacrificed himself for US, for our salvation? Is he possibly the ONLY person in all the millenias that there have been humans on this planet that has sacrificed themselves to help other people?

I think the point that is trying to made, Moon, is that something like that could be offensive to some. Even for those of us with little or no religious convictions. There are some symbols in life that you simply don't "play around with". Maybe I am way out in left field on this, but it just seems that a bit of thought could have been put into what was posted. We each respect each other's beliefs and opinions here, I would like to think, but I am afraid ( and yes, this is a personal opinion ) that putting Spock on a cross like that is a bit out of line, whether you prefer the church-type stuff or the bunnies and chicks kind of things for an Easter representation.

I think the point has been made. Lets get back on topic please.
