I have my date for my surgery to get my tennis elbow fixed. It's next Thursday and I am looking forward to it. So freakin' tired of the constant aching. I have about had it all the way up to my baby blues.

When you get to the point that the aching wakes you up during the night and you're taking Tylenol like candy, you want something done. And now I finally am getting what I want.

I'm so glad to hear that you will be having your surgery next Thursday. Hopefully everything goes well with your surgery. I'm sure that it's going to be wonderful being able to finally be pain-free once again. :hugs:

In my case, mine probably came from all the moving around on the flight line that I do in the course of doing my thing with the engines. Between twisting around lifting engine cowling, carrying tool boxes and test equipment, and climbing up and down crew ladders, I am surprised that something didn't "go wrong" before now.

i guess they call it that because you do
move the elbow a bit when playing tennis
it's also called "hooter's elbow" and "archer's elbow"

You should have seen what happened at church last Sunday. Before services, there is usually coffee and dounuts. Without thinking, I grab the coffee pot with my right hand and start to lift it to my cup. The pain was that great that I almost dropped the entire pot down onto the counter. Filled my cup with my left hand, then like the dummy that I am, I reached for the cup with my right hand again. Pretty much the same result.
